Day 2: Casper Wyoming

This is what it looked like last night when we pulled into Great Falls. It was FREEZING cold. We watched a little television and went to bed.

In the morning, we found the perfect place for Holly to spend time. Snicker.

We hit the road by 8:30am when it was at least minus twenty-six outside. It was a lot of blowing snow and not much to look at out the windows.

We drove through a small town named Billings, which we had driven through earlier this year when bringing the truck home from Texas. There was this strange looking store that I had wanted to see on our last time through, but it was closed when we got to the door. This time however, the store was open, and here's a pic of what it looks like. There were stuffed animal heads all over the place, tonnes of antlers, carved ivory of all types, and just a lot of stuff.

Arriving in Casper, our final destination at about 7pm, we found this Diner that looked perfect for a sit down supper. It was pretty awesome inside!

Holly loves having her photo taken!

And here we have arrived at our Super 8 hotel. SO, we made it no problem to Casper Wyoming, and we have a very busy day tomorrow. There is a pool at this hotel and I wanted to have a swim before bed, but I'm so tired, I may just go to bed.

I cannot wait to get into Texas and enjoy much warmer weather. And, it will be nice to reach Mexico and be able to take our time more and just have fun.
